Almost 16 years of Music Outback collaboration in Anmatyerr & Warlpiri languages (my first visit was 2001 to the Northern Territory touring with Coloured Stone & in Ti Tree in 2002) - initially we personally committed to 20 Years here - almost there!! Find Mal Webb & myself on the Mural at Ti Tree Town in Anmatyerr country - the largest Mural along the Stuart Highway (the road that passes through the Centre of Australia from North to South) painted by community & kids, by Artist-in-Residence Maggie Urban & local-Anmatyerr Artist April Campbell. This is Ahakey Dreaming country - a local bush black-currant. So, you can see the form that Mural takes - all of the Ti Tree school activity on a vine of Black currant fruits with Love - Seini

03.01.2022 "Awaiting Sunrise..." it can get SO HOT in the Central Desert Sun my times for activity are during the morning & afternoon when the Sun is rising or setting - I love the stillness, it makes me appreciative to witness the Sun's movements & it's meditative to watch the horizon. In my own Moanan culture from Oceania, I learnt to always contemplate the horizon with a mild manner & empty thought. The Horizon is a special place where it is like looking at the Stars - it's an il...lusion My Polynesian Ancestors understood that the Horizon was not a site where the Heavens & the Earth collide. We had names for spaces & locations just beyond the Horizon, which determine other illusions like - future time. In the present moment - to our eyes The Horizon is true AND also, we can also remember that beyond what we are seeing is also ALL POTENTIAL - constant change, swirling energy that we may not be seeing & if we move what we can see, is not necessarily evidence but a mere signal that there is always something else coming just beyond what we see - Have a beautiful day, with love, Seini See more
