ASIC has reported instances of this behaviour during the COVID-19 pandemic. ASIC has advised that this conduct may constitute unlicensed financial advice and contravene the Corporations Act. Serious penalties may apply. Financial advice must ONLY be provided by qualified and licensed financial advisers, or financial counsellors, not by real estate agents or landlords who neither hold the requisite licence, nor are an authorised representative of an Australian Financial Services Licensee.

02.01.2022 Hey guys, Ash here... Its definitely a very challenging time for so many families and businesses right now and our thoughts are with ALL our clients and friends who are feeling this season. For those who may still be ok financially speaking, I want to talk about reserves. Its so, SO important that when your cashflow is good you dont spend it all. Rather, gradually tuck money away until you have 3 to 6 months of expenses in cash. Your reserves will help you weather the t...ough times, and be in a strong position to support your team and loved ones. When this tough season is over, make creating reserves in your business and personal finances a priority to give you financial strength, so that you can weather any future storms which may arise. Please do get in contact with us if we can help in any way. Stay safe, Ash.
01.01.2022 People who are eligible are now able to access their Superannuation if they are feeling the financial effects of Covid-19. While accessing a quick $10,000 or $20,000 right now might seem appealing, its important to remember that your superannuation is about your future. Particularly for younger workers, a small withdrawal now may have a huge negative impact on eventual retirement savings. According to an Industry Super Australia analysis, withdrawing $20,000 now at the age of 25 now could mean a huge $95,696 difference at retirement age. If youre considering withdrawing funds from your super account, make sure you seek wise financial advice about the impacts it may have on your future, before you withdraw it.
