25.01.2022 No bushcare tomorrow; even if it's not raining the site will be too wet/slippery. Next event will be Clean Up Australia Day on Sunday 1st March 7:30am.
22.01.2022 Another successful Clean Up Australia Everyday Day for 2020. Thanks to Robertson Scouts for joining us and Councillor Kim Marx for joining in and providing catering via the Lord Mayor's Suburban Initiative Fund.

17.01.2022 An enormous mud house built by termites, now home to a Kookaburra nest!
17.01.2022 Hi all, a reminder that we have a working bee this Sunday. Meet at 7:30am. Bring your own gardening gloves from home if you have them to help with meeting our covid-safe requirements. https://fb.me/e/7VSHLilIV

12.01.2022 We're delighted to announce the return of our working bees, albeit with lots of Covid-safe rules to adhere to! First working bee Sunday 14th June. We need your RSVP so we can manage numbers so please let us know here or send a message so we can keep an eye on numbers - thanks. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
11.01.2022 Whilst Planet Ark's National Tree Day official event has been cancelled this year due to Covid-19 we are still planning our own small tree planting event on the day that was to be National Tree Day. Please join us on Sunday 2nd August at 8am for our appropriately socially distanced event! RSVPs appreciated for planning purposes - thanks.
10.01.2022 Hi all, whilst the skies are grey and there's rain forecast we're hoping there will still be a dry window tomorrow morning so that our working bee can proceed as planned.
08.01.2022 First working bee for 2020 is scheduled for this Sunday 9th at 7am. We are however watching the weather carefully and will make a decision mid-morning tomorrow as to whether or not we proceed. Watch this space
07.01.2022 Covid-19 Update: We've received the following advice from Brisbane City Council regarding the resumption of working bees. The date for our May working bee has passed so we will continue listening to advice from Council and advise closer to the time whether our 14th June working bee will proceed. Looking forward to seeing everyone again when the time comes! The silver lining is that we have less weed growth in the cooler months so hopefully things won't get away on us too much. Council contractors have continued working for the duration so fortunately that work hasn't ceased.
01.01.2022 We have a new weed at our site: Rattlepod. Please keep an eye out for this one. Found near the bridge across Brandon Road. Information about control in the link below. ... https://weeds.brisbane.qld.gov.au/we/lance-leaved-rattlepod
