25.01.2022 The letters will be here soon....

24.01.2022 This week our staff were extremely busy preparing work for Term 2. There is still a lot of uncertainty around what school will look like next term, and we, like you, do not know if schools will be closed or will remain open. Keeping that in mind, we have developed at home learning packs for each of our students. We are very aware that many of our families have parents who are still working, as well as many families who have two or more school aged children. We kept this in mind while planning, to produce lessons that are easy to follow and achievable for children to complete. Here are our P-3's boxes of goodies, ready to roll! We will let you know when they can be collected.

23.01.2022 Congratulations to our students who participated in the Burdekin Festival of the Arts yesterday. Both classes performed extremely well and came away with some trophies. We recieved: 1st P-3 choral speaking - My Mum Says 1st 4-6 choral speaking - When Frankenstein was just a kid 1st P-3 choir - How far I'll go... 3rd 4-6 choir - A Million Dreams Many of our students also recieved awards yesterday for their writing and art works. We will post some photos tomorrow. Thank-you to our parents who were very understanding yesterday, when the program was running very late. The delays were out of our control and we didn't want to leave without our students having the opportunity to perform their songs. We greatly appreciate your support. Due to the delays, our students spent over 3 hours waiting at the theatre. All students need to be congratulated on their behaviour during that time. It's a very long time for little bodies to have to sit and be quiet. Well done everyone!

23.01.2022 Great news! Our playgroup is back on! Please join Katy and the team every Monday from 12:30-2:30pm! https://www.savethechildren.org.au//o/australia/play2learn

21.01.2022 Are you considering going out to your driveway on Saturday morning to participate in Light Up the Dawn, to honour our ANZACs? Take a photo of your children dressed in their school uniform and send it to us, so we can create a slide show to be shared on Facebook, showing our school community united in spirit to remember those who served and sacrificed to allow us to live the way we do today. Either send your picture to [email protected] or to the school mobile. You can stream a short commemorative service from the following link: https://rslqld.org/News/Latest-News/Light-up-the-Dawn
