01.01.2022 Become a strong Bold Speaker with contributor @suzchadwick s top seven hints and tips 1) Tell great stories - it’s how we learn and connect. Did you know we retain stories more than general information? 2) Share super actionable tips that they can take away - people are busy and they want to know how they can do something. Sandwiching actionable tips in-between stories is the perfect formula.... 3) Try and use businesses that are in the audience as great examples of the tips you’re giving. People love to see their businesses up on the screen as an example of good and it’s super engaging for them. 4) Have fun - if you’re having fun as a speaker and you know your content is helpful to the audience then they will have fun in the process too! 5) Make things interactive so that you’re getting people involved and they’re not just sitting and listening - without it being cheesy, getting hands up or audible Yes’ from your audience. 6) Seriously bring the energy - monotone just isn’t good to listen to really. 7) Last but not least - the if you take nothing else away from today.... statement. When people are at a conference of there is a lot of content for them to consume it can be overwhelming so highlight one thing that you think is the stand out point for them can really help people to narrow in and take action on just one thing.
