23.01.2022 Australia #1 rejoins the VMPA for season 2019/20 The reining and defending Australian Champion and Defending VMPA champion puts it all on the line this year for... what is hotly shaping up to be one of the biggest yet. Kye Walters the 21 year old hailing from Torquay in Victoria is quickly becoming a household name in the modified sedan category. Adding the Australian Title and VMPA series win in his past season makes Walters the benchmark for up and comers in the class. Steering the Redline #46 AU falcon with it's fresh new look for the season, the car will not only be fast on track, but just as quick standing still. The Australian Champion will yet again set his sights on series glory and hope to put his name in the history book yet again as a possible back to back series champion. A feat at the top of the to do list for young Walters. Kye thrives on the competition however and the challenge that comes with being competitive week in week out has always been a driving force for him to continue racing at the peak of his form. "Nothing motivates me more than finishing second," quoted Walters. With a mammoth upcoming season at the helm, Kye would like to acknowledge his loyal bunch of sponsors that proudly adorn the A1 Machine. 19.01.2022 Been a bit quiet on the social media side of things so far this year, however we just wanted to say congratulations to our customers who competed in the Australian Formula 500 Title over the weekend at Murray Bridge (SA). A huge field of ~70 of the best cars covering all states of Australia produced close, fast racing. Congratulations to Liam Williams who again proved the class of the field and retained his Australian title. 13.01.2022 This weekend we competed @ Murray Bridge Speedway in the Australian Title, with Matt Gerlach behind the wheel. Having , thrown him in the deep end, he certain...ly got a good feeling for the car in a short amount of time. Unfortunately mechanical issues - seen some good results taken away from him, on the first night. After rectifying the issue, the second night, showed some impressive driving, coming from 16th to 4th in the B-main, transferring him into the A-main starting out of 20th position, and finishing 13th on a challenging race track. Would like to thank Octane Alley Race Engines, I&J speedway equipment, Bratt Race Engineering, Nth Geelong Auto Electrics, Paint by Willba, and Andy FX Signs. 05.01.2022 Well Another Aussie Title done & dusted. Fair to say we didn't have a lot of luck on our side on the first night, with our set-up not quite right, in the first... heat, and a few questionable decisions, made by the powers to be, in the second heat. Third heat got caught up, with a spun car, leaving us sitting 25th on points, after the 1st night. Second night, started outside pole, in which Matt was able to bring it home in first place. This moved us up to 15th in points, putting us into the "A main".. Unfortunately, about 9 or 10 laps in, got caught up with 2 other cars, hitting one of them, causing a badly bent bottom arm, causing 2in of tow-in.. Matt tried to continue, but at lap 22, had to retire. Congrats to Cam Waters & crew on there Title win. Thanks again to all of our crew, partners & sponsors that make it all possible for us to participate. Hope to see you all at the Vic Title, this weekend @ Hamilton. Cheers. See more
05.01.2022 With the 2018/2019 speedway season almost over we would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support this year. The back half of this season proved to be pretty big for a few of our customers and their teams, with a total of four state titles and two national titles across a handful of classes! 04.01.2022 Congratulations to Trevor and the team at Mills Racing Headquarters on their recent back-to-back Australian Production Sedan Title. To have won the Australian Title twice in a row is a feat that Trevor and everyone involved with his team should be immensely proud of! We are certainly proud to have supplied Trevor with our custom tuned Bilstein dampers for his VS Commodore for both of these title wins. He even snuck a Victorian Title win in between! After servicing the dampers from the 16/17 AUS#1 car earlier this year we jokingly wrote on them AUS#1 17/18. I guess he wont have to re-label the dampers before he sends them back to us at the end of this season!
