25.01.2022 Now this is a Christmas hamper. Best get into Launceston Art Centre peeps.

23.01.2022 Unfortunately, too many artists can relate to this. Please remember to value yourself and your art!

21.01.2022 This isn't normally the space for being political. However, on this occasion, it seems fitting and important to speak up and speak out. Sadly these are the politicians who seem to have forgotten the substantial contribution the arts sector makes to Australian economy. In fact, the Bureau of Communications and Arts Research (BCAR) own analysis showed cultural and creative activity contributed $111.7 billion to Australia’s economy in 2016-17.... Perhaps next time these politicians are walking through the halls of Parliament House, they should stop and look at the artworks on the walls; or the next time they turn the television on or watch a movie, or listen to music.... stop and consider the contribution creative artists have made to those moments of entertainment they are experiencing. At times of national crisis, that's when the nation needs its arts and entertainment sectors most - and remember, the two are inextricable linked. Yet here we see the abandonment of an entire sector.
