25.01.2022 The incredible Erica Josephine Brennan is at it again with this Rough & Ready self performed monologue written from our Nostalgia theme prompt. As you can see, Erica is an accomplished writer and performer with many directing credits to her name as well. She is an all round whiz when it comes to theatre and art making and does love her tea, but maybe be careful sharing a cup with her.....
25.01.2022 So it turns out Luke Holmes has a life outside of us and is producing this incredible interactive theatrical experience. Tickets are on sale now!
24.01.2022 We love seeing people who deserve it succeed. Bernie Van Tiel blew everyone away at one of our LineUp nights and has just released a single. Now there’s no excuse not to know and love her music! Give it a listen and support a local musician of immense talent, you’ll be glad you did.

24.01.2022 One of our favourite genre pieces we've seen in the Rough & Ready, this wonderfully dark and atmospheric piece comes to you from writer and actor Victoria Greiner. Victoria has performed in many theatrical productions in Sydney, including many with the Suzuki based with Ninefold - a theatre ensemble, as well as being a working voice artist... we hope you enjoy her haunting your screens here until she can get back on stage!
23.01.2022 Our friend and the legend Liam LiLi Smith who you may have seen performing at our Brave New Lineup just launched an album. Get amongst it and support New Australian art and talented young man addressing a powerful subject.
21.01.2022 We had the honour to attend some live theatre earlier this week and can guarantee that this show is some of the best entertainment available at the moment. The always powerful Ninefold - a theatre ensemble have knocked it our of the park. Do yourself a favour and see this before the season is through!

19.01.2022 The next R&R entry is the a completely different form altogether. It’s our first song submission and we love it. Take a listen to this haunting and beautiful piece with lyrics by Abhishek and music by Touca (which is the artist name of our very own BNW member Anna!) created for the R&R challenge.
19.01.2022 This next R&R Video from last week comes to you courtesy of the combined writing skills of Shane Russon and Maddy Stedman ... a wonderful spotlight of both their skills accross the writing and acting disciplines! Shane is an actor who works in both text based and physical theatre forms, such as the Ninefold Suzuki collective. Maddy is a writer and theatremaker who also appears here in her second performance role for this weeks R&R, giving a whole-face performance after her extreme close up work we shared yesterday.

10.01.2022 We are halting our current projects and posts for this week out of respect and support for the current protests and calls for justice. We are a group dedicated to new and important voices, and right now, the voices that need to be heard are not ours. We encourage you to seek out the programs and fundraising options from #Blacklivesmatter, as well as #Aboriginallivesmatter in response to indigenous assault and incarceration in Australia, and give to those who are making a difference.
