21.01.2022 What is the meaning of happiness? Is it joy? Is it temporary relief from pain? Is it brief? Does our happiness depend on how lucky we are? Is it based on having the ideal partner? Is it based on having a great career? Does it depend on our looks, or perhaps the money we have, the family we have, the car, the house...? We live in a society that encourages us to buy things to be happy. We are told every day that when we buy things, travel to places, work or live in a specif...ic place, we will be happy. We buy into that idea and suddenly our lives become a chase - we start to look for something that helps us to be happy. We tell ourselves that we "will be happy when..." Today I would like to invite you to explore a different possibility. What if I told you that you already have everything you need to be happy? What if I told you that by chasing happiness, you are actually placing yourself in an unhappy state of being? Happiness is the state of being in the present moment and being grateful for what's in front of us. Start by living in the now. See more

15.01.2022 When I came back from work last night I had lots of tension in my shoulders and neck. It had been a really hard day. I remembered the words of Helen Keller: "Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved." Yet my body feels broken! Must I suffer to be successful? I breathed deeply... I connected with my pain, the one that I had been resisting... and I welcom...ed it in. I decided to fill the bath and surrender to the fact I was "failing". Failing to my own demands. In my state of mind and soul, I was not able to create anything. I accepted this and I let go. I took responsibility for making my own life more difficult. I decided to honour my needs and realise that I cannot control everything. Surrendering to my exhaustion I allowed myself to stop. I became free from the torturous expectations I was placing upon myself... I decided to let go and then I noticed how the agitation and the worry diminished, I was no longer a victim. See more

It is useful as it helps you run away from danger, but fear can also lead you to stay put in a situation that is known. Just because it is familiar, even if it is hurting you. Love is a heart quality and it enlivens you, it is in the core if your being. No decision you make inspired by love will be detrimental to you or others. ... Can you recognise what is driving you?

12.01.2022 When I became a mum I experienced immense happiness. I wrote this when my baby girl was a couple of months old: "This is happiness. The sun is rising behind the mountain and I look at my baby see a little smile as she just finished drinking and felt asleep in my arms - full, content, satisfied with my milk. And even though I have only managed a little bit of sleep this night, I love her so much I can almost feel my heart bursting. The sun is there to greet us, and I feel as if it is there to shine on me and keep me warm company while I fall asleep hugging my baby."

10.01.2022 It was such an honour to speak about the work of Brave Souls in front of 150 people during a NED talk at NAB! The audience was so captivated and I had so many people coming up to me at the end wanting to find out more. This just shows that people are eager to learn how to reduce stress, take charge of their lives, let go of the pain and feel free. People want to feel connected and that they are not alone. Accepting our vulnerabilities and connecting with our emotion is the... first step. In this presentation people saw the value of doing this and what it means to become more emotionally intelligent and to be living a heart centred life. I am so grateful and inspired by the work I do and cannot wait to continue sharing this message.
