19.01.2022 From 1 December, Department of Transport will be making existing clearways on major roads (key arterial routes) within 20km of the Melbourne CBD tow-away zones.... This means that vehicles parked illegally in the tow-away zones during the restricted times are impounded and drivers will receive a fine. There are a range of events taking place to mark the occasion, including the Safe Steps Walk Against Family Violence, a walk-from-home event this Wednesday 25 November that raises awareness of domestic and family violence. This week’s StoryTime online session at 11am, Wednesday 25 November is gender-equity themed, and will include a reading of a book from our Beyon...d Princess and Pirates guide (which lists children’s picture books that challenge gender stereotypes). 03.01.2022 There’s private works happening in Braybrook to improve the fencing along our shared bike path that runs from Ashley to Duke Streets. We’re letting you know so ...you can best navigate your way through or around the works from Monday 23 November to Friday 4 December. Walkers can still pass on the grass verge but cyclists will need to dismount and walk their bikes past the worksite, or both can use the suggested detour. Note the path will be close and the detour the only way through on 26 and 27 November. See more
