24.01.2022 Here is another one of my football pictures in the advocate, super happy that they are liking what I’m producing to keep putting them in the paper. Cheers Will Braid. Hit up Creative Bill Media for any of your writing/website needs for your business or club.

24.01.2022 Went down to the foreshore at Devonport tonight for the 9:30 fireworks. It was great to watch, the new location was really good, much better viewing of the fireworks. Here are the shots from tonight Sophie Braid

20.01.2022 Today I had the chance to go and shoot some wildlife at Zoodoo Zoo - Richmond Tasmania. I was able to go in and spend time with the zebras photographing them from all different angles, they are magnificent animals to spend time with. I had the chance to go into the lions air lock to be able to see these big animals up and close. I would like to say a huge thanks to Brett Guy Photography for allowing me to do a 1 on 1 workshop with him. Here is just a couple from today, more to follow.

19.01.2022 Yesterday we went to the Tasmania zoo, it was a spontaneous idea and was a great day out. We seen heaps of different animals including Tasmanian devils, lions, tigers, cheetahs, sheep, goat, lambs, monkeys, African dogs and cows to name a few. It was challenging trying to shoot through the fence at the big cats, I wish they had a viewing platform that you could view from and still be safe. The cheetahs were by far my most photographed animal, They are unreal to see. I found out that a cheetah meows like a cat too. Tasmania Zoo ABC Hobart Discover Tasmania Sophie Braid

19.01.2022 Yesterday I had the privilege of watching these two become MR & MRS Fisher. It was a beautiful ceremony to capture with all their friends and family.

17.01.2022 Here is another couple of pictures of the 1966 XP Falcon that my youngest brother and his girlfriend went in to their leavers dinner

15.01.2022 Cheetahs are such beautiful animals, I could have watched these all day. I decided to turn two of the pictures I took into black and white. Sophie Braid

14.01.2022 The winner of the 400x600 framed print is Abby Rouse! I would like to say a huge thank you to all the people that enquired and booked a session with me supporting local business.

13.01.2022 Today we went for an adventure to WestMorland falls in Mole Creek. This walk is a really nice and fairly flat walk most of the way. there was heaps of fungi to look at, some stone steps and plenty of different trees.

11.01.2022 Tonight I tried to get some action shots of the children on their new bikes. Here are some shots from what I captured. They love riding them, they are out on them as much as possible. The children loved coming and having a look at the back of the camera seeing the shots that were taken of them, seeing if they can go faster and show some tricks by either standing up or popping monos. If you are looking for a bike either for yourself or children go and see Conor Smith at Ulverstone Bicycles he will sort you out with great customer service and knowledge, once you have been to Conor you won't want to go anywhere else.

10.01.2022 The sunrise this morning was a treat. This is what was down in the gulley. The real treat was up on the top of the hill on the way to work. unfortunately didn't have my camera as I was on my way to work. Sophie Braid

10.01.2022 Yesterday we went for a hike and did the Castra circuit. This walk was a beautiful walk, lots of fungi, different trees and ferns to look at and heaps of little cascades that you walk along side. We started to descend down to Castra falls but it was way to slippery for our liking so we turned around and hiked back up and continued on to the circuit.

09.01.2022 Today we went to Wings Wildlife Park - Tasmania for their kids fun day. We walked around and seen all the animals, the children’s favourite animals to see were the farm animals. Here are some of my images from today.

09.01.2022 Soph and I went to forth falls on the weekend. It was a really nice walk, lots of fungi to see. The start of the walk was a bit steep but other than that it wasn’t too bad. We had only been to the top falls every time, this time we decided that we would do the bottom falls too. The bottom falls was an easy walk. If anyone is looking for something to do as a whole family outing I definitely recommend this walk. Just take it easy at the start and it’s fairly cruisy after that.

06.01.2022 Hey everyone, I have been pretty slack posting to my photography page. Here is a post of what I have been doing in this iso time. I have had the camera in my hand a fair bit honing my skills and learning new things.

05.01.2022 I went for a cruise up the hill today and these guys were close to the fence, so I drove back home got the camera. I went back up the hill and took a couple of photos. These prints are available for purchase and framing and would look amazing on your wall

03.01.2022 Today while in the Sheffield area, I was lucky enough to have my camera in my hand still as it flew past me. I quickly got my camera ready to focus and then hit the shutter button, trying to catch the cockatoo as it flew away.

02.01.2022 Today Sophie and I went for a drive to the central plateau for a wander, on our travels we found these little guys. I sat down with the camera and watched them do their thing. they are quite amazing animals. very shy, but if you sit still enough they will do their thing so you can photograph them.

02.01.2022 I went for a drive to Pyengana yesterday looking for halls falls. I drove past this little beautiful brown falcon. I was at the falls for a couple of hours and came back past and he was still sitting there. I got my camera out and walked towards him and started taking photos. I was able to get pretty close and capture his flight pattern. Here’s just a few of what I got. Sophie Braid ABC Hobart Tasmania Discover Tasmania

02.01.2022 Today I went for a drive to Middlesex and found this little gem, This is upper quaile falls. The walk takes 10-20 minutes and is nice and easy. I could’ve stayed here all day, but wasn’t prepared. As they say there’s no such thing as bad weather it’s bad clothing. Definitely will be going back.
