17.01.2022 Our Year 10 students recently participated in a Your Future career education session with a group of guest speakers from QUT. Students learnt about the variety of occupations and pathway choices available to them in the future. Student Ambassadors shared personal stories about their first jobs and pathway options, as well as their top tips for our students. A Career Educator took the students through some activities, and talked about school subjects and VET options to help with the SET Planning process. The Your Future Career Educators are available to provide free advice about work and learning opportunities to all students and parents in our local community. The Fuse Cup is an international network of schools connected in providing young students with an opportunity to participate in a national esports competition. 02.01.2022 Our Year 12 students recently participated in a Your Future career education session, with a group of guest speakers from QUT. Students learnt about the variety of occupations and pathways available to them after Year 12. Student Ambassadors shared personal stories about how they applied to QTAC, as well as their top tips for our students. A Career Educator took the students through an exercise to identify which occupation type could be a good fit for them, and then showed ...students how to analyse the different pathway options available. All of our students are eligible to receive a free, pre-paid QTAC voucher (valued at $45) to apply for uni or TAFE by emailing [email protected].
