25.01.2022 Really love this hat. It’s the first one where I flattened the brim completely and turned up the edge. French Navy Petersham trim around the brim and the crown. @ Wanniassa, Australian Capital Territory, Australia

25.01.2022 This is the first hat I made when I did the millinery course at Embellish Atellier.

25.01.2022 Haven't posted much lately but that doesnt mean I haven't been creating. I love this hat. Its gone out to Murray Fraser of Sprout Daily as a form of pay back for the surf photos he's taken of me thatched the years that I have gotten a lot of mileage out of. The last photo is what it looked like when it came in.

25.01.2022 And just to reiterate that BraZen hats are a domain of the cool....

24.01.2022 Newest member of the BraZen hat crew. Really love this hat. It’s a nice old one. I kept the basic shape but had to replace the sweat band and added trim and some patches.

22.01.2022 This is the back half of the video and it does miss the bit when it was totally consumed. Notice the background support.

22.01.2022 And another stylishly happy and upwardly brazen hat wearer.

20.01.2022 Cindy Appleton styling her wide brimmed, double velour BraZen hat. Hat body and trimming sourced from Embellish Atelier. I really like this hat. #embellishatelier #cindyappleton

20.01.2022 The newest member of the brazen hat crew. Originally a sand coloured wide brim Akubra, this one wasn’t reshaped only slightly, French Petersham trim added to the brim, hessian sack band and new leather sweat band.

17.01.2022 What’s the collective n for a group of hats?

16.01.2022 My hats of 2020 so far. Three of them will be going out to new owners this week. What's not to love about a banging new old hat. All upcycled and made to live a new life.

15.01.2022 Peta Morris styling the hell out of this upcycled vintage Akubra Army hat.

15.01.2022 This hat came in, shrunken a couple of sizes and sweated through a hundred gigs Give me a week, Mathew Woodward.

07.01.2022 Working on an update of a hat that is older than me.

07.01.2022 What better way to warm up on a cold winters day.

07.01.2022 This is a 30 year old hat that had shrunken to a point where it was consigned to a corner of the attic. I resized it and the owner gave me free rein to style it up. This hat has a great feel to it.

06.01.2022 BraZen hat Upcyclery is all about revamping that old hat that just doesn't cut it any more. Is it a 'hand me down' from a relative? Doesnt fit any more? Too plain? You don't like it?... Give us a crack at it. The fee is a modest one. About $40 to $90 depending on what you need done. No hat is too far gone. In fact, sometimes the further gone the better. See more

06.01.2022 I love it when I do a hat for someone and see cool photos of them being worn. Thanks Lisa and Mat.

06.01.2022 And the process from a size 53 army hat to a size 59 'one of a kind'.

05.01.2022 The logo for BraZen hat Upcyclery is the letter Z and the morse code for 'e' (dot) and 'n' (dash dot). The last 3 letters of BraZen. I use a soldering iron to mark it on all my hats.

05.01.2022 I knew I should have had water on standby. D'oh!!!!
