23.01.2022 Melbourne - Saturday 2th, 2.30pm Don´t miss Amazonia Eterna @ Hoyts Melbourne Central It’s spectacular. The basic thing people forget is that there are people living in Amazonia, and that they have to preserve nature. What I saw was a story of people who lost everything and then managed to reemerge and create something new, it’s a film of hope, beautiful. Mara Bun, Green Cross. After Amazonia indulge yourself by enjoying Less than Nothing 4.30pm, Heleno 6.45pm and Soulbound 9.15pm.

19.01.2022 LUZ, CÂMERA, AÇÃO! Are you an action hero? Reckon you got that Spielberg mojo to call the shots and run the show? Then listen up; this is a chance that only comes about every 4 years. After four years at the helm of Brazil Film Festival, I am stepping down and want to pass the opportunity to a new National Director. In these 4 years, I saw the Festival grow from 4 sessions by the Opera House in Sydney to 94 sessions across all five state capitals of the Australian mainland. I...n the next 4 years, the Festival will continue to grow its presence in Australia, enthralling its residents and visitors with the images, sounds, scents and flavours of Brazil through cinema. Brazil Film Festival will also continue to be an initiative of BrazilFoundation Australia and to count with its wholehearted support in raising funds and awareness towards Brazil's social and environmental challenges via the promotion of Brazilian culture in Australia.
