25.01.2022 #Repost @brisbeerbaron with @make_repost Barrier Reef Two Turtles: Pale Ale 5.0% ABV 30 IBU Cairns, QLD I visited Cairns a couple of months ago and brought home some beers from local breweries that had been hiding at the back of my fridge waiting to be rediscovered @barrierreefbrewingco was just around the corner from the @airbnb I stayed at, so naturally it was the first place I visited and this was the first beer I drank! hopped with Magnum and two Aussie classics; Cascade & Galaxy this pale ale is light & refreshing with fruity flavours up front followed by a malty backbone with moderate bitterness. I’m sure this one is a hit amongst the locals as it goes down a treat on a hot, sticky afternoon

I dropped into the tap room Two Turtles for look and couple beers over my time up in FNQ. This spot is an extension of craft beer microbrewery @barrierreefbrewingco and my my first time trying their tasty Beers. With heaps of tap beer options from a Hazy Days Unfiltered Lager to a Double Shot Coffee Amber Ale, all of their beers are unfiltered and made with 100% natural ingredients - nothing artificial! This is a great little venue located in Stratford, Cairns. I enjoyed a flight of beers in their beer garden surrounded by fresh air and lush mountains of Far North Queensland .
