23.01.2022 Yesterday we headed off to Coral Cove for an over night stay. We got well & truly spoilt with our air bnb villa which over looked the pool and golf course We headed into bagara for some fish and chips and watched the sunset over the ocean followed by an ice-cream. Bec and I met back in 2009 when I worked at a fish and chip shop so it was nice to sit down and enjoy fish and chips together and reminisce on the old days Then headed back to our Villa and went for a super rela...xing night swim in the pool (the water was perfect temperature) where I seen a wild possum. Then it was time to hit the hay, pretty sure both of us fell straight asleep Today I got absolutely spoilt with bacon, eggs and rice bubbles for breakfast made by Bec then it was time to pack up and head into Bundaberg where we explored the Botanical Gardens and did some photography. Then we went to Bundaberg Bowl and leisure where we had an absolute ball playing bowling and dodgem car. Bec made some friends at the bowling alley & even made a little boys day. Then it was time to head back to bagara to re- do a photo because silly me wrote "Breaking Barries" in the sand instead of "Breaking Barriers" We laughed so much over the 24 hour period that we ended up with some serious hiccups . This over night stay is getting Bec prepared for Dunga Derby in July which we are both super excited about and also helped Bec to close a chapter that was very dear to her heart. See more

In order for us to embark on this adventure for an amazing cause we need to fundraise money, all money goes back into the Fraser Coast to help families who are struggling due to no fault of their own. 08.01.2022 To say I'm extremely proud of this lady right here would be an understatement! Today not only did she break 1 barrier but she broke 3 barriers She owned the dance floor today, introduced herself to the main man from line dancing hervey bay, asked a lady to dance whom Bec has become friends with and even seen a lady that she hadn't seen for a very long time. Becs confidence has come in leaps and bounds these last couple of weeks. She brings so much joy and laughter everywhere she goes and hearing the people at the boat club say it's a pleasure when bec arrives makes me super proud
