23.01.2022 Want to bring some better nutrients into your diet in a tasty and delicious way? Look at what you can make into a smoothy to go, anything goes. This info-graphic is a great start on experimenting on what you can do to up your fruit, vegie intake and diary intake.... If you are a breakfast skipper this can be a good way to get some sustenance in a fluid form. Add some protein to satisfy you longer and fuel muscle repair and power your brain power. Nutrition is the building blocks to heal your body and help you make better choices than the ones that may be stressing and robbing your body of the vitality it deserves. As we come into the warmer months this can be a great treat, meal replacement (where you are normally having none) or alternative to some poorer food choices. Also remember not to overdose on sugars if doing all fruits, adding honey etc. Balance out any energy you are consuming with good exercise also as we need to burn the energy we consume. So like all things use this as part of a balanced diet and not a cure all solution.

17.01.2022 Happy New Year to you all this first day in 2017. I trust you all had a wonderful festive time over Christmas and enjoyed lovely food and drink in abundance with loved ones. We are given the gift every day when we wake to start anew in gratitude and live life on our terms. No more is this clear than on New Years Day. We all reflect on what we would like to improve going forward and it may be the only time all year that we make a conscious effort to make a change.... The good news is anyone, anytime can make a choice to make a change for the better for themselves first. If you want to make a change, improve something for yourself and others in your life then we can help so your resolution is realised, not given up on like so many others that have failed before. Maybe you're familiar with making great goals or intentions like joining a gym but then not following through? 15.01.2022 Day 22 of the 22 push ups a day for 22 days to raise awareness for combat stress, PTSD, and wider mental health issues amongst our currently serving lads & lasses and our veterans. Only takes a couple of minutes out your day so if you're nominated please take part and thank you for your support! * Once you are nominated your 22 days start the following day. * Every day you record yourself doing 22 push-ups. Try your best to reach 22. If that means doing assisted (from your k...nees) push-ups or that you have to stop and take a break that's fine but try to get them all done in one video. You could also be creative! * Every day you must nominate a different person. Try to choose people you think will want to do this and/or have the ability to do it. * And finally, have fun with this. The main goal is raise awareness for combat stress, mental health and those who suffer in silence. Shoulder got sore into this yesterday so expect some assisted reps for a few more days yet.
