25.01.2022 Due to the re-established concern in SA around the Covid 19 virus, we have decided that the Pro Lure round 2 event will be a competitor and event support staff event only. This means that we are asking that you only attend the event and weigh ins if you are competing or have a prior arrangment with Alex or myself with helping out on the day. For those people that would like to follow the event, we will be livestreaming throughout the day where possible and livestreaming the ...entire live weigh ins and presentations on the Bream Master SA facebook page. We think that everyone needs to do their part in keeping the virus at bay and we feel this is the right thing to do on our behalf as tournament directors. There will also be hand sanitiser at the event but we ask that people attending bring their own personal hand sanitiser aswell if possible. If you have any concerns or queries then please make contact with us. Cheers, Gibbsy (BMSA)

04.01.2022 Go get yours, some cracking articles in this one

01.01.2022 With the kick off only hours away for the Prolure Round 2 Bream master competition, lets take a look at some of the competitors and predictions of how tomorrow might play out. Can the Round 1 winner Ben "Gibbsy" Gibbs, back up his winning form with another scalp? He has previous form at this venue winning and placing at past comps. I think he's form might drop tomorrow and he might find himself outside the placings. Joshua Davey has Onk water running through his veins, he cu...t his teeth on this river and knows it like the back of his hand, i expect josh will be right up there come weigh ins. Mathew Bini and Karl wild are another two to keep your eye on after both placing at the round 1 event. These guys have proven they have got what it takes to consistently catch bream. Karl is abit of an Onk specialist and id expect him be right up there again in just his second competition. Kristian Fennell and Jessica Vianello are doing the miles all the way from the south east, but can they get the smiles? We shall find out soon enough. Another competitor who bleeds Onkaparinga is Rob Graham, Robs got more experience then anyone in this river and some say that he can even speak to the bream. I guess we will find out if he can talk them into jumping on his lures tomorrow at the weigh ins. The newbie Ryan Ottens has proven he can catch a West Lakes bream or two, but can he crack the Onkaparinga bream code....? Jamie Richardson is another that calls the Onk his "local", he seems to have the skills to be able to catch these finicky bream so lets see if he can pull it all together tomorrow and jump into the placings. The "Dark Horses" are the ones you need to keep your eyes on in this comp with the likes of Luke Oleson, Sean Pearsons, Dylan Powell and Joshua Bland. After keeping relatively quiet on the comp scene over the past couple of years Luke Oleson is back. Luke Oozes bream angling talent so we will see if he can get it done tomorrow. The word on the street is that Sean Pearsons is a seriously talented bream angler, although he's not in his Skeeter this weekend i can see him being right up on the leaderboard in that new 360 of his after a successful prefish. Another that apparently had a successful prefish was Joshua "Rex" Bland. He would have been pretty disappointed with how his round 1 went and id say he is eager to make up for it this round and i think he might. Dylan Powell knows how to catch a bream and has proven in Hobie rounds that he can adapt to a number of systems and catch fish... can ge master the Onk? My predictions, well you could throw a blanket over this field and anyone could take it out. But to make the hard top 5 call my tip is Joshua Davey followed closely by the dark horse Sean Pearsons, with Karl Wild, Luke Oleson and Joshua Bland rounding out the placings.... Yipahhh, have fun guys anyone can win this event

01.01.2022 A big thanks to Rowey's Fishing Show for having us on to recap the Pro Lure Round 2 event Make sure you head over to Roweys page and hit the like button to keep up to date as he interviews reccos on all things fishing
