21.01.2022 Happy birthday to a Mercy Hospital for Women NICU graduate and Breastmilk Bank recipient John, who turns one today. John arrived nearly 11 weeks early and weighed just 1.35 kilograms, but is now a happy, healthy little boy.

20.01.2022 Dr Gillian Opie was recognised at Mercy Healths International Womens Day awards for her dedication to providing services of highest quality to mothers and their newborns and passionate promotion of breastfeeding. Dr Opie has been instrumental in pioneering human milk bank services and is leading its second step of expansion to provide services to other hospitals in Melbourne with support from Mercy Foundation. Her selfless service has helped thousands of small premature babies and their families. This is in addition to her full time role as paediatrician at Mercy Hospital for Women. Congratulations Gillian!
