16.01.2022 Hi there lovely people. The Breast Night Ever has been a wee bit quiet lately. Thanks to everyone involved, we had a fantastically successful gala back in August raising close to $25,000 for the Love Your Sister Foundation. My passion for fundraising and wanting to make a little difference to others suffering the god awful curse of cancer has guided me to a childhood cancer project called Bravery Box. I’m so honoured and very humbled to have been asked to jump onboard as a ...director, and hopefully help raise some hard core cash for such an unbelievably worthy cause. 14.01.2022 Dearest fellow cancer crusaders, carers, kind souls and friends, Just before COVID 19 took over the world, and by the skin of our the teeth I was fortunate enough to create and host a very special Ball in collaboration with the gorgeous Tanya from Bravery Box Australia. Bravery Box are a registered Charity who support families with a childhood cancer diagnosis. As tough as 2020 has been for so many of us, it’s difficult to comprehend what adding cancer to the mix has been l...ike for so many. The isolation, the fear, the uncertainty, the despair! There have been many who have lost their darling loved ones throughout this time and suffered unimaginable obstacles due to restrictions on top of the great losses of their beloveds. Last week a beautiful little angel at the tender age of 13 who touched my heart when I met her only once, grew her angel wings after many, many months spent at the Queensland Children’s Hospital Oncology being the absolute bravest of the brave. To many, Bravery Box Australia has been a lifeline throughout COVID. The support Tanya and the BB team have and continue to provide is immeasurable.
