20.01.2022 To the Breathe Better Family The Corona Virus situation has rapidly evolved resulting in many businesses closing down to further enhance social distancing. Whilst we reiterate the minimal risk of cross infection within the salt rooms, we have made further adjustments to the operation which include allowing only one Member Family per session in the Family Room and only two Members in the Adult room. This adjustment will also further reduce the already low cross infection risks... associated with the salt rooms. We will endevour to remain open and accessible to our Members who need salt therapy to help them breathe better by breaking up congestion and reducing inflammation of their airways. 19.01.2022 Hello Breathe Better Family. The Victorian Premier has announced a return to Stage 3 Lockdown for 6 weeks beginning Midnight tonight for the Melbourne Metropolitan area. Unfortunately we will be closing for 6 weeks in line with the restrictions. All Memberships will be suspended from tonight until Thursday 20th August and resume on Friday 21st August (Fingers Crossed!)... Please stay safe and we'll see you all in 6 weeks time

18.01.2022 Dear Breathe Better Family, There is a lot of information circulating about the COVID-19 (Corona) Virus, some more factual and helpful than others. At Breathe Better, we are taking steps to ensure we continue to support our community members and their families to be proactive about their own health. We are regularly wiping down surfaces and have hand sanitiser and tissues placed in place. As always, the best thing you can be doing for yourself and your family is keep yourse...lf healthy and boost your immune system by: EAT WELL - Eat healthy food and avoid toxins: more veggies and fruit and avoid processed sugar. Remember to drink lots of water too. Supplements may also be a good addition to boost your immunity. MOVE WELL - exercise is important for all aspects of our health. SLEEP WELL - Try to get lots of sleep & rest as this is so important for a healthy immune system. THINK WELL - Stress less - spend some time meditating or get out for a walk. High cortisol levels are a sure way to compromise your immune system. ATTEND SALT THERAPY Reduces symptoms of infections by strengthening the immune system. Also don't forget to look after and respect each other - strong connection with others is fundamental for our health. It has been a stressful start to the year for many of us, so let’s look out for each other. As a new infection, accurate information about COVID-19 has been increasing over the past few weeks. What has become apparent is that healthy people and children seem to only get mild symptoms, but it is having more serious effects on people with existing health issues, especially respiratory issues and the elderly. Although the risk of cross infection within the rooms during sessions is very low, we have introduced some operational changes to further reduce that risk We will no longer provide blankets. Please bring your own blankets and towels The toys in the Family Room have been removed, please bring your own toys The Family and Adult rooms will now have restrictions on numbers. Adult Room to be capped at 4 persons and Family Room to be Two Families as determined by the Therapist present. The situation is changing daily, and while we had hoped to stay open, this is now no longer possible given the current environment. 09.01.2022 Looks like the the Premiers Roadmap has us reopening after October 26th. 07.01.2022 We are still unable to reopen the centre due to the State Government restrictions in place ie Mandatory wearing of masks during therapy.
