13.01.2022 Well Hello I have realized that formally I have never introduced myself on here and what a perfect time to do so! So, Hello, I’m Bree! I am 25 years old. I enjoy good coffee and love a good carrot cake.... I am actually currently studying my other passion, Counselling, full time, which explains my social absence lately (forgive me!) I am currently coming up to the middle of assessment block. As well as studying I also work full time! I decided to pursue my passion in make up after I had an awesome opportunity to do so mid-2019, but prior to that I have loved make up ever since I could remember. I grew up in a small (very small) country town in-the-middle-of-no-where QLD (forgive me for that too) and girls wearing make-up there wasn’t even a thing. I have 2 older brothers, so I have no idea how my love for make-up started, but I think I have to thank my mums mini stash of 90’s blue Maybelline compact shadows and horrible glittery brown lipsticks that somehow made a comeback last year I LOVE supporting small businesses! If you have ever been to my home studio, you would know I have a small fur baby who, yes, is just my baby. Lola loves to cuddle and sneak into my make up room for a client pat and cuddle For me, make up is about connecting and making people feel good about themselves. I love the feeling of giving someone a boost of confidence not just through brushes but also through words. Make up is about inclusiveness, there is not a person who ‘shouldn’t’ wear make up if they want to and there is never a ‘wrong’ way to do make up if it makes you feel good about yourself. So thanks for coming to my ted talk. Thank you for your support, thanks for following me, I am excited to chat with you all on the other side of assessment block .. Xo
