15.01.2022 In the light of the #AustralianBushFires, its been absolutely amazing to see individuals use their influence & business for good. Like @sarahs_day selling over 6,000 of her fitness e-books and raising $391, 660 @celestebarber setting up a Facebook fundraiser which has raised over $45 million.... @lisamessenger leading the way to get emergency food supplies to the areas in need. @thedigitalpicnic donating a hefty $3,000 donation & inspiring others in the #socialmediaspace to adopt a koala [and so much more] Cafes, restaurants, individuals and online businesses DOING what they can to raise even MORE money. [Key word is more because sometimes we think we’ve donated enough but in fact we can do a tad more] Despite all of the hoo ha and opinions circulating social media [remembering that an opinion is the lowest form of knowledge], it’s been absolutely AMAZING seeing what humans can do together when they have a common cause. So cheer up from the business as usual guilt. Social media is an amazing platform when we use it for GOOD @lauracranecreative See more

11.01.2022 THE BEST ADVICE I’VE LEARNT IN BUSINESS THIS YEAR? The value is in the inefficiencies. What does that means?... Put simply: People appreciate what takes time and effort. You know, like going out of your way for them. Writing a thank you note. Doing that *unexpected* thing for them to show you CARE. Why? As humans we want to feel special. We want to feel valued. We want to feel loved. So if you can go out of your way helping them? There’s a much greater chance they will stick by your side #ForLyf Next time you‘re working with a client, think about: Writing them a personalised welcome email Sending them a thank you note Giving them a shoutout Going over and beyond if you make a mistake Do SOMETHING to make them feel valued. Let’s hear it! Do you do thank you notes or something similar? #ItsAllAboutThatLoyalty #AndyFriscella See more

11.01.2022 Thank you so much excited to have you onboard again! Less than 3 days to go! breedesigns.com.au/challenge

10.01.2022 Can you guess how many hours a carousel takes to make? And yes I said hours! These bad boys take me three hours on average but results are

07.01.2022 BEFORE another year passes without posting this photo... I TURNED THREE IN NOVEMBER 3 YEARS as a self employed business (the S Quadrant life, ya know) and I’m so fricken proud! (Time flies when you love what you do!)... So, let’s get a little bit vulnerable and share some of my biggest lessons learned 1 KNOW YOUR WORTH Early days I struggled with knowing my worth, which is the exact same reason I needed to work 40+ hours a week to pay the bills, ya know. Once I put the work in developing my mindset [reading books/podcasts], I felt the shackles lift off. I slowly began to charge what I was worth, deepen my expertise and work a lot less! 2 DEVELOP BOUNDARIES I was someone that felt the need to say YES to every little job that came my way, and bend over backwards for my clients to get the job done (it wasn’t the client’s fault, it was mine). BUT I decided to start being selective with the work I take on (and not be a jack of all trades), get better at my processes and learn to say no to a quick job. 3 PEOPLE FOLLOW YOU BECAUSE THEY LIKE YOU Sometimes it’s easy to get caught in the Why would any one be interested in what I have to say? mentality. I get it but that mentality isn’t serving you. The way I tell myself is: if you can impact one person’s life when you show up on Instagram, then you’ve won [and if in doubt, educate to add value]. 4 DON’T BE MEAN I can be judgemental, but I would never write my judgemental thoughts and bully someone online [unless they’re a bot, because they’re not really humans]. If you don’t like something, keep it internal and deal with it privately. Social Media needs to remain a positive place there’s already have enough negative news if you’re looking for that! That’s it folks [Headshot day by the Uber talented @webb.and.flow] Did you realise any of these lessons in your business? Let’s hear it

03.01.2022 [#InstagramStoriesTip] Doing the HARD work, also requires doing the HARDER work You can apply this theory to anything, but since we’re here for Instagram, this is how to think about it ... The HARDER work looks like: Reflection You’re showing up everyday but you’re not getting the RESULTS. Ask yourself? 1 How well is your audience receiving you? Are you likeable? 2 Do you show up with a positive energy? No judgement/no gossip? 3 Do you put people before profits? [You’re looking out for people first before you make a profit] 4 Are you resonating & connecting with your audience? 5 Are you spending the time building relationships & *caring* about them? 6 Do people know why your business exists (besides providing an income)? Do your followers know your mission? 7 Do you have a consistent feel & design on your Instagram Stories? 8 Are you consistent with showing up every day? 9 Are you holding back your silly/fun/weird personality? Are you providing information that no one else is providing? I.e you add value REFLECT & ask yourself those simple questions ...and if you have no idea how you come across, you can always a friend (that me ). Did you ever think Instagram Stories would have so many elements to it? P.S look at the amazing feedback from the 30+ members doing the 30 Day Instagram Story Challenge @zoeclairephotos @ Darwin, Northern Territory See more
