01.01.2022 Bremen Motors in Margate is looking for a fully qualified and capable mechanic with all the necessary qualifications and experience. You will have at least 5 ye...ars of experience as a qualified mechanic working on a diverse range of petrol and diesel passenger cars, 4WD's,SUV's and light commercial vehicles. Experience with European vehicles will be advantageous. You will need to be excellent in vehicle servicing, performing various mechanical repairs from simple to complex, braking systems, suspension component repairs and replacement, and vehicle diagnostics. A 4th year apprentice may be considered for this position if deemed suitable -you must be better than average though. We are a fast growing company focused on prestige vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes, Audi and MINI based in Margate. You will be part of a small but highly skilled team responsible for vehicle servicing, pre-sales preparation and customer service. Duties for this position will include but not be limited to: * Routine maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles (mainly European brands) * Fault finding * Computer diagnostics * Maintaining all workshop equipment * Working on and diagnosing diesel vehicles * Test driving all types of vehicles * Working as a team * Keeping all work areas clean * Working unsupervised * General duties as required Desired Personal Attributes for this position will include but not be limited to: * Superior organisational skills * Customer Management skills * Reliable and punctual * Honest and Trustworthy * Ability to self-manage and work autonomously * Team Player Qualifications, Certificates and a current Driving Licence are mandatory for employment with Bremen Motors.
