25.01.2022 Meet Brandt Tucker from Closeburn Rural Fire Brigade Brandt joined over 8 years ago after the devastating 2011 floods of his home town of Withcott in the Lockyer Valley but he also wanted to give back to the community that put up with his shenanigans for the past 17 years. He says seeing the joy on the faces at community events when people get to jump up into the truck, the enjoyment in the community at these events are priceless.

09.01.2022 Meet Anthony Nelson from the Closeburn Rural Fire Brigade Anthony joined 12 months ago after seeing the fire man calendar and to get a bit fitter, But in all seriousness he says when he moved to the area he wanted to be involved in the community. He has 2 friends in the Toowoomba RFB who suggest to him to join the RFB. He enjoys the camaraderie, the laughter and fun and says that the RFB are his 2nd family.

He saw first hand the work the RFB does & how effective they were,this inspired him to to give back to the community. Kaleb says they are most welcoming, he has made good friends but most of all he loves the camaraderie within the group. He also enjoys the learning that goes with the RFB.
