25.01.2022 Its been a while since Ive been there, but Im really excited to be heading into the Yarra Valley to Wandin Park Estate tomorrow for Sarah and Shanes wedding! While I absolutely adore the fact I mostly shoot on the Mornington Peninsula at all its beautiful venues, I also love getting out to new spots in Victoria and beyond! This was Annaliese and Petes wedding a few years ago and they had an incredible da that included torrential rain minutes before they were due to hav...e their ceremony! They made the quick decision to move inside and had a really beautiful indoor ceremony instead. They showed such an incredible ability to change plans last minute and still ha e the best day of their lives! Its looking to be a pretty beautiful, rain free day tomorrow though Fun fact, this was also the first time I met Erik from @westwardfilms who then went on to capture my wedding day! 24.01.2022 So..... its my birthday. My 30th birthday. I dont normally give birthdays too much thought but this one I have been. Not in a bummed out Im getting old way, rather a think about everything Ive achieved in my 20s and looking forward to even greater years ahead way.... I graduated uni from a course I was never particularly sold on, however made the most of all the opportunities it presented. I met the most beautiful loving person and proposed on Fraser Island . We then got married and, its true, it was the best day of my life . I started a photography company that Im so proud of and love, and managed to travel a large part of Australia and the world. This is a just a snapshot, its genuinely a fantastic life I get to live. But the future looks even brighter. Im going to be a father. The closer it gets, the more real it becomes and the more I get excited. It will be the most challenging venture yet, but I know the most rewarding. Thank you to my wife Maike for the love you give me. My heart is full of love for you but well squeeze some more in for our newest addition. Thanks to my friends and family for the memories, experiences and lessons. Were products of our environments and the people we surround ourselves with shape us. 20.01.2022 What an incredible journey weve just been on! I will start with how incredible my wife Maike is; shes nothing short of superhuman. Watching her labour and seeing her physical and mental strength made me fall in love with her even more. Then we got to meet our stunning girl Lacey Mae Creaser. Truly love at first site. ... 10.01.2022 I had the pleasure of photographing a SURPRISE wedding on Saturday night. Lauren and Luke were originally planning a wedding on the Mornington Peninsula in 2020, however after the planning was under-way, vendors booked etc they decided it did not reflect who they really were . They had planned a combined birthday / engagement party this recent weekend though and they were able to shift a lot of their vendors to this date . The ceremony was intimate with their nearest and dearest before surprising their friends with the news at the start of the party . It was such a pleasure to be involved in the surprise and the bridal party were all so much fun ! Im looking forward to looking through this one
