25.01.2022 Not good for low or heavy cars but It's got merit

23.01.2022 Ive been avoiding this but I am in and out of cars so so much and I maintain these vehicles like they are carrying precious people. My point is I see so many incorrectly fitted child restraints.....I have been a part of the technical services team at RACT and fitted thousands professionally and correctly....all my contact details are on this FB page.....booking required, reasonable rates.....pensioner discounts.....new born fittings mostly free (conditions)

21.01.2022 Its a shame that people dont look at it this way. Sadly we are portrayed as dirty, lairs and thieves.

16.01.2022 These photos are of an owner operator of a tyre store/mechanical business leading by example.....no names!!!! While attending this major failure I also noticed this particular highly sensitive common rail Diesel engine was 10k overdue for an oil change.....what can I say

16.01.2022 Another way to prove that I hate this iconic vehicle....its sweet but I hate the bloody things

16.01.2022 For those who understand this technology is cutting edge, very intelligent & fairly surprising considering electric cars are so prevalent today

15.01.2022 Its a shame that the diesel isnt cheaper!!

14.01.2022 Tomorrow is one of the biggest events on my dont disturb calendar I love you all.....but it would take a huge event to drag me away from the tele.....so please be considerate

07.01.2022 That is such a classic shot

06.01.2022 This morning as most Mondays present, we had a vehicle delivered by the RACT yesterday. Sticker on the window, do not start!!! Timing belt broken....this very good customer has just purchased this vehicle & rightly so, very tidy, great service history, all invoices for repairs in the glove box, 136k on the dial.....anyway story told to somebody who told somebody who told me car just stopped no noise, cant be timing belt because it was done 25k ago.....in my busyness I was t...oo curious to not touch it.....ripped the lid off & hey presto no teeth on the belt....managed to get identifiers on the belt in to eyeball view & again hey presto original belt....now the invoice that indicated this job was done was from a very very reputable workshop in Hobart so Im a little shocked there are obviously failings within our industry which pisses me heaps there are scum bags out there that are biting good people & soiling the reputation of those who are passionate about providing great service and most of all safe vehicles that share the road with our precious families....when I get back to this vehicle it may mean a simple timing belt replacement but there is a very good chance there is major engine damage running into thousands....fingers crossed for the 1st scenario See more
