25.01.2022 All the boot is finished on @shqrp now, a really crisp clean look. The boys @downtownkustoms did an awesome job on the aluminum fabrication. Trimmed in @brentparkerhides black nappa leather and grey German Squareweave

25.01.2022 We got to finish off the loose ends on @shqrp door trims today to make them fully complete. The amount of work in these is incredible...Getting them to marry to the dash was a mammoth effort...like always we are really happy with all the fine details and the finish weve achieved.

25.01.2022 After a long frantic day weve finally fully completed Ali's Mazda RX3 Coupe built by Pac Performance . They did an amazing job . We put so much effort and detail into this interior to make it special and it was a pleasure working with a great customer that truly appreciates the time and effort we put into it. Like we did with the HT we completed recently we are also entering it into the #Ncautointerioroftheyear competition. 25.01.2022 What a great way to finish 2020 and start the new year with a front page feature in @streetmachinemag for #deanshtgts which we did the interior in. A huge congrats to Dean and @downtownkustoms for building one of the best cars ever to be built in this country. So go out and buy a copy and see what all the fuss is about.

24.01.2022 The roof was finished yday on #deanshtgts . A fully moulded fibreglass liner trimmed in Dinamica suede. The boot inside liner was also nearing completion this afternoon. It really is a nice contrasting texture to give it a warm feel.

22.01.2022 Finished and installed the dash on @shqrp today. Been wanting this done for a long time and finally on our last day for the year we managed to tick it off. Has come up so clean, the amount of techniques to make look like this is crazy. The boys from @downtownkustoms did such an amazing job getting this late model dash to fit in this car aswell as the mods its had done to it also.

22.01.2022 Door trims are finally completed on Deans HT. CNC machined boards with a 3D printed armrest which is longer than standard, satin black lower door pod with hand made pressed speaker grills. Basketweave embossing for the insert. If you flick through pics you will see the design is a modern take on original door trims. All designed by Graeme @downtownkustoms We are now finished this masterpiece which would have to be one of the best custom cars ever built in this country We are so happy with final outcome, let us know what you think of it...final pics of car and interior will be after unveil so stay tuned!!

22.01.2022 Well this was a tricky console to trim on #deanshtgts due to the two front points where the lid closes. Lots of little tricks to pull this one off. Full aluminum custom made and printed insert by @downtownkustoms. Gunna look killer installed

22.01.2022 We are very excited to reveal the Mazda Rx3 Coupe we have been working on. It would be the most detail trim to leave the shop to date. Crazy amount of hrs went into fabrication and mods. All trimmed in Brent Parker Hides Chestnut nappa leather. Everything has been created from nothing even the dash has been heavily modified. Custom seats front and back, fully fabricated door trims, console, tailored carpet, boot. One piece roof lining in Alcantara which is all one piece even ...down 'C' pillars. So much detail in this I cant even begin to explain. We really tried to get this interior elegant and classy with traditional design but trimmed with modern techniques. A massive thanks to Brett Copping for all efforts on this huge build. Let us know your thoughts on it See more

20.01.2022 Some seat jewellery to finish off the seats for #deanshtgts built by @downtownkustoms . Designed by yours truly . Its so important in our line of work to have a great network of skilled tradesman to call upon. Take these seat medallions for example, have a look at the polishing job done on these by Jarrod Parr from @concourse_moulding .Easily the best polisher in the country. He also did them on late notice when I dropped them on him late. Also a big thanks to the best neighbour a guy could ask for lol @ben_finky who put my thoughts into CAD, and John Irwin Engineering for the CNC

20.01.2022 It was so nice to finally to be able to wrap this boot fitout on #deanshtgts It has been almost 2yrs since we did mock up on it. Always an eager wait to see if your vision has worked. A custom modern take on a traditional design. Well I could put my feet up and look at it all day What does everyone think of it?

19.01.2022 Wrapped up the rear parcel shelf and headrests on @shqrp today. Not too over the top, clean, crisp, elegant lines and french seams. Always a good combo. Also never want the design to overshadow the workmanship and fab work done by @downtownkustoms.Let us know what you think..

18.01.2022 More work continues on @shqrp . These are the completed front seats. Foam redesigned and I then implemented the clients design. These are the seats I used some new techniques on, and adding some other little touches they have come up so nice. A really clean smooth look.

15.01.2022 Last section of #deanshtgts to be shown is the completed rear seat. Completely made from scratch, a really nice flowing shape which sinks into the car and suits the interior really nicely. Once again its the small details or one percenters which really highlights this interior. Sometimes we take what we do for granted, but to look back and see what weve created really is cool and seeing a vision come to life is what pushes me each and every interior.

14.01.2022 Stitches are overated ..just finished this Brock MOMO today. Very tough job, absolutely no stitching at all on this one. Its all butt joined and glued down. Measurements and cutting had to be within a millimetre. Come up really nice considering the level of difficulty. * please note this will be the last MOMO for the year so no more enquiries please

13.01.2022 I can finally reveal the completed seats on #deanshtgts built by @downtownkustoms . The amount of work in them has been insane. They started out as SL500 merc seats which ive completely redesigned them to suit the interior weve built. The seatbelt is now inbuilt with the wider shoulders. Basketweave embossed pleats with inverted piping. One off designed medallions expertly sanded and polished by Jarrod Parr @concourse_moulding and once again thanks to @ben_finky for doing the CAD drawing. Cant wait for this thing to be revealed. We are stoked with the outcome, let us know what you think

12.01.2022 Here we have a XM Falcon that has finally come back to us after almost 4 yrs to be finished. I did the seats and door trims in 2016...and now we are doing a boot fitout and rear parcel shelf. A really crisp, clean uncluttered look. It has a dirty big fuel cell so we decided to shut it all off cos it was dead useless space anyway. Its come up a treat.

11.01.2022 The XM Falcon was finished today. Full custom job in leather. Started this job almost 4 yrs ago so its nice to have it finished. Went for a clean less is more finish. Lexus electric seats were used, custom made console, tailored squareweave carpet. We are really happy with the final outcome

11.01.2022 The under dash cover for #deanshtgts is so cool, check out the fab done by @downtownkustoms. It completely shuts off the whole area.Quite a challenge to cover but come up so nice. Some access holes were fitted and also footwell lighting was added.

10.01.2022 This was an epic wrap...completed Maserati dash in leather, extremely time consuming with 6 major seam placements in one sewn up cover.

08.01.2022 Crazy amount of work and detail on these door trim tops to get them right on @shqrp. The fab work to get it all fitting with the dash has been a mission to get them ready to cover All had to be tailored to fit this complex shape making sure the nappa leather didnt distort in any places.

03.01.2022 More work continuing on @shqrp . Got the back seat prep finished today Heaps of work had to be done for the frames to sit right. Alot of cutting and welding was needed to miss the wiring and pipes running through to the back to power this beast. I also separated each side so they now come out one by one instead of a pair, makes it much easier to handle. I also attached the headrests to the aluminium on the parcel shelf which will give it a really clean look.
