24.01.2022 A huge thankyou to Greg Luca at That Barber Shop in Wahroonga!!! Wahroonga Village now has an accessible defibrillator available for all members of the community to use in the event of an emergency. The Brent Kelly Foundation appreciates you offering to house this life saving device. Having this device means action can be taken quickly if a sudden cardiac event occurs. For those of you who support the Brent Kelly Foundation thankyou for allowing this to happen. Please pass o...n this information to anyone who visits the area or commutes to and from Wahroonga station. Note at this time there is no defibrillator at Wahroonga Station. If a defibrillator is placed on a person within 3 minutes of a cardiac arrest the survival rate increases to 75%. A defibrillator won’t shock a person if they don’t require a shock.
