25.01.2022 In great news for our community, when restrictions ease across New South Wales this Friday, 15 May, outdoor playgrounds and gym equipment will reopen and may be... used with caution and in accordance with social distancing measures. Boot camps and personal training sessions with a maximum of ten people including the trainer will be able to recommence at local parks. In order to ensure NSW Government guidelines are adhered to, it is vital that any trainers wishing to use Council parks and open spaces make a booking directly with Council. Bookings can be made via [email protected] or by phoning 4934 9700. The off leash dog exercise area at Bakers Brickyard Park in Raworth will remain closed while improvement works are completed, but the playground will reopen along with all other outdoor playgrounds in parks across Maitland.
