20.01.2022 WORK. People, meet Big Mo. Big Mo meet the people. Big Mo is a polymetallic nodule and quite possibly the largest of its kind dredged from seafloor approximately 2 kilometres beneath the surface. @nautilusminerals is the first company to commercially explore the seafloor for massive sulphide systems, a potential source of high grade copper, gold, zinc and silver. Commissioned by @scientific_american to document these incredible natural forms. Many thanks to Picture Editor #monicabradley and superb retouching from the gun that is @sianfay.
