15.01.2022 Do you know how the proposed 2018-19 budget will affect your superannuation? In an effort to ensure that Australians are keeping more retirement savings, the Government is proposing a cap of 3% on certain fees on superannuation accounts with balances less than $6,000. They are also proposing to ban exit fees, making it easier to change super funds or consolidate your balances. The Government has also proposed that insurance through superannuation will no longer be automatic,... allowing superannuation fund holders to choose to obtain the insurance cover if they so choose, reducing the amount of superannuation lost to fees. For other proposed budget changes, have a look at: https://www.budget.gov.au/2018-19/content/overview.html
