25.01.2022 We’ve had some new people like our page lately so thought we’d pop up an introductory post again. Meet Brett; One of the faces behind the paint brushes . ... Brett is a happily married, 26 year old dad of 3 kids Once Brett completed Year 12 he jumped straight into his Painting & Decorating apprenticeship with a small, local, family owned & operated business, which instilled in him the values he portrays. After completing his apprenticeship within this company and being a tradesman for a while he decided to move on to a large company doing contract work for a large construction company to gain some more experience. With this experience under his belt he decided to take the risk & launch his own business in January 2019. It’s safe to say he hasn’t looked back! There are many painting companies out there but rest assured if you choose Brett’s Prestige Painting & Decorating you are in the hands of a fully qualified, QBCC licenced & insured professional. 24.01.2022 Wow. What a year We survived Covid-19, homeschooling, adding our third child to the family & our second year of business. The rain in the last few weeks has wreaked some havoc with our last project prior to Christmas closure, however we take it in our stride. ... We can’t thank everyone enough for their support, recommendations & referrals. We are packing up tools this week and taking a well deserved family holiday returning back to work Monday Jan 11th. Merry Christmas from Brett, Bec, Ben & our families to yours. Stay safe.

20.01.2022 We can not thank you enough for your support in our first 17 months of business. The soft and hard referrals, the recommendations & everything in between. You have helped our family grow in more ways than we thought possible. We never thought we’d be booked out 3+ months in advance! ... Being nominated as finalists for the Home Services retail category in the Redland Business and Retail Awards for 2020 (the first year eligible) is such an honour. 19.01.2022 It was our official 2nd birthday last week It’s gone so fast I almost didn’t believe it when I realized. It’s been the best, most rewarding, stressful, learning curve we’ve been on (coming second to parenthood of course ) We thank all of our past & present clients, business associates, friends and family who recommend us without fail time and time again. ... We’d be nowhere without you all! This year has already started at a very rapid pace & we can’t believe it’s already February We’re currently booked until approx. mid-April & actively seeking another staff to help lighten the load & draw down our lead time. Happy belated birthday to us & almost 1,000 likers

16.01.2022 Here is a nice before & after of some soffits we prepared & repainted earlier this week. We high pressure washed & scrubbed down, caulked gaps, filled holes, sanded all surfaces & spot primed before applying 2 coats of Taubmans All Weather Low Sheen. Now taking bookings for MARCH 2021

10.01.2022 We’re at the Redland Business and Retail Awards tonight hoping for a win

09.01.2022 Interior we just finished up on. Here’s a prime example of some unforeseen problems that can occur when doing repaints, this is usually caused from original painters not using the correct undercoat and most of the time none at all. Scraped it all back to a hard edge, we then apply a coat of oil based undercoat for the best possible adhesion to the surface, 2 coats of base plaster, 2 finish plaster coats, and another undercoat over the top. ... Lots more photos to come, keep your eyes peeled.
