02.01.2022 Hey Guys! This month our team is participating in StepTember to raise money for services, equipment and research into the causes & treatment of cerebral palsy. Through this, we will each be taking at least 10,000 steps a day to fundraise for this cause. So what is cerebral palsy? Cerebral palsy is a group of neurological disorders that affect the body’s movement and muscle coordination. Cerebral palsy is the leading cause of childhood disability. And while there is no cure..., there are various treatments that can improve an individual’s capabilities - though more funding and research is needed. ("Cerebral Palsy: Hope Through Research", NINDS, Publication date July 2013.) I encourage you to give to this cause if you can, or participate yourself with your friends!
