22.01.2022 An unusual but still very meaningful ANZAC Day today. Great to see and hear of so many participating from their homes this morning. Lest we forget.

14.01.2022 A huge thanks to the Maffra & District Community Bank branch and their Cash Splash 4 Clubs program. They have made a very kind donation of $200 to the Briagolong RSL! This will go towards maintenance of the Log Cabin.

14.01.2022 ANZAC Day 2020 will not look like the ANZAC Day that so many of us are used to participating in. There will be a Dawn Service, wreaths will be laid, the last post will be played, a minute of silence in memory of the fallen will be observed, but the service community and the public will be asked to stay at home. This does not mean that ANZAC Day is cancelled. It just means that ANZAC Day will be different. In 2020, on April 25, while you can't go to Dawn Service, the RSL is as...king that instead you #STANDTO. Just imagine how special it would be if every Australian was standing in their driveway with a lit candle at 6am on ANZAC Day, united in spirit to remember all those who have served and sacrificed for the lifestyle we enjoy today. We will play the last post over the PA System from ANZAC Park at 6AM, and follow this with one minute silence, the rouse and the national anthem. Please share your pictures of the morning to our facebook page with the hashtag #STANDTO
