25.01.2022 Christmas Closure Dates 2019 We will be closing 12.00 pm 20th of December and re-opening the 6th of January 2020 Last gas orders will be delivered the 19th of December, gas orders will begin deliveries 2nd of January 2020... Please be aware from the 20th of Dec to the 2nd of January NO gas deliveries will be done. 18.01.2022 Total fire ban Friday 13 December A Total Fire Ban has been declared for the Shire of Augusta Margaret River for all of Friday 13 December 2019. This means:... You must not light or use any fires in the open air All open fires for the purpose of cooking or camping are not allowed Hot work such as metal work, grinding, welding, soldering, gas cutting or similar is not allowed unless you have an exemption You must not undertake any other activities that may start a fire. The ban has been declared to due to a Fire Danger Rating of Severe for large parts of the Shire. Penalties for ignoring the Total Fire Bans include fines of up to $25,000 and/or 12 months jail.
