13.01.2022 DANCE Gosh it never fails to amaze me how precious, talented and joy-filled my gorgeous daughter is. Yesterday she took my book and a bunch of flowers she had picked from the garden... and I watched her jumping, skipping, leaping and dancing with such freedom and flair with her two prize possessions. ... It made me think how I love to dance! To feel free and let loose! Those who have danced with me know not to get too close as you may accidentally get an arm flung your way or trod on with my 2 left feet Sorry Tammie Pike But this doesn’t stop me dancing! Instead it makes me laugh... a lot... and off I go wiggly around again! When my daughter stopped dancing I asked her about my book she is reading. She told me how she was so fascinated to read your chapter Tamara Stiller As an 8yo herself desperately wanting to be in dance classes but ‘contained’ to a rather large garden dance studio, she found your chapter on ‘physie’ so interesting. Many similarities that she could relate to, even in her young lifespan. It opened up a beautiful conversation with so many hidden gems that we could discuss. One of our favourite lines from Tamara’s chapter, that resonated so well with both an 8yo and a 40yo, was ...that your point of difference, your strength, and your abilities, will never be dimmed around those you were suppose to be connected to. We are all unique individuals and have often dimmed our light so others could shine. This will be No more... Dance & shine bright dear child and mother

02.01.2022 . WHAT’S OVER THE FENCE? I love this photo of my gorgeous son a few years ago. ... Curiosity overflowing to see what he couldn’t see. No hesitation to be adventurous and climb up higher so he could maybe see something that he couldn’t see from the ground. No fear. When did we get scared to take a peak over the fence? To climb up higher and take a look from a different perspective? Why does fear hold us back and often stops us from pursuing our greatest dreams? Great questions to ask yourself and ponder on for a little while... I’m choosing to be like my little yellow gum-booted son and to start looking at life from a different angle.
