19.01.2022 Something a little different this week. A Commodore that has had a lot of time spent on it! The base colour is actually silver.... then has a tinted ‘Kandy’ layer as a mid layer before clear coat is applied. This gives incredible depth to the paint job, and a bright flash of colour in the sun . Paint is from ‘House of Kolor’ and is Brandywine over Orion Silver. Take a look at the last 2 photos to see the ‘Red flash’ in the sun.

12.01.2022 VF Commodore SSV came to us with damage all over. The owner wanted to keep the original colour but asked if we could do something a little different to make it stand out. A chat to out PPG paint rep John and we decided to go with Sapphire Chrystallance . Very fine ground blue glass. The colour looks normal until sunlight hits it and then it comes to life with a brilliant clean blue sparkle. Keep an eye out for it and take a look if you see it around town.

03.01.2022 77 Celica finally went home ! We had a long wait for bonnet hinges from the U.S due to the Covid19 restrictions. Im sure you’ll agree these older cars really had a style all their own. Painted in Orange Tonic Pearl its a real head turner!
