An additional CBD grant of $1000 will be available for eligible businesses in recognition of the increased impact on city businesses as a result of people working from home. 05.01.2022 Heads up to all clients booked in for July, this from the ATO: "Private health insurance providers are no longer required to send end-of-year information directly to policy holders. The details will be included in pre-fill information." But as of right now, that information does not appear on our prefilling (too early in the tax year we are guessing)...... And the prefilling is showing some payment summaries (used to called Group Certificates, now Income Statements...) But not all are there.. So please bring all information along with you for income (including Bank Interest and Shares/Dividends), expenses/deductions and Private Health insurance to ensure we lodge an accurate tax return for you. Thank You. P.S. Also from the ATO "To reduce the risk of mistakes and amendments to tax returns, you should wait until your client's income statements are Tax ready before lodging. Most pre-fill information will be available by mid-August." #willtaxpayerswaituntilmidAugusttolodge? #Asif!
