23.01.2022 Today is the fun day. Customer brought it in for a wheel alignment after new suspension been fitted. True little beast !

23.01.2022 Apparently Michelin is not able to make this tyre round. It is square for sure. Impossible to fit on the wheel. Questioned myself for multiple times and did a head to head compare with old one ( Michelin). Not round for sure. Never had one like this on many Pirelli we did. Need more attention on Michelin from now on. Maybe they should put more focus on tyre instead of hotels.

21.01.2022 Bit of white morning. With set of Pirelli’s on, lots of fun begin.

21.01.2022 Two more Toyota Hilux. Pirelli vs BFGoodrich. Pirelli scorpion AT plus offers brilliant ride comfort with almost no significant road noise increasing compared with other highway pattern. Perfectly suitable for people who wants quiet freeway trip with no compromise when off road. BFGoodrich as always been recognized as the best tyre for 4wd comes with solid sidewall and rigid tread block will help people run through any road surface, however wet handling and road noise will go to negative side as tread wear down.

18.01.2022 Wheel alignment for a long wheel base VW van. Challenging but fun.

18.01.2022 Today is the day! Very arguable topic on budget tyre ( cheap imports). For a start, it’s not going to blowout on the second it hits the road. As long as it comes with a DOT code it should meet the minimum requirements on safety. Second, tyre is not a rubber ball. It has steel belt and other construction components to hold it stands up together with compressed air. The real differences between budget tyre and premium tyre are rubber compounds, tread design and performance stability. In short words, budget tyre perform OK when it’s new, but performance declines significantly as it goes down. Plus, premium tyres have strong after sale support than budget brand for sure.

15.01.2022 Good opportunity for a head to head Pirelli VS Michelin. 255/40r20 front and 295/35r20 rear. First thing in the morning. Road was little bit wet as well. Pirelli Pzero definitely win on wet handling very pointing. Michelin pilot super sport is quieter but little bit spongy. For a quick conclusion Pirelli is about sport and Michelin is more touring. More reviews will come.

14.01.2022 245/45r18 Pirelli cintP7 vs Bridgestone Potenza Re050. Bridgestone re050 was originally equipped on VE/VF commodore as touring tyre with maximum driving comfort. This particular car has done 35000km on OE tyres and need 4 tyres replaced for the first time. Part of reason is poor wheel alignment and significantly increased road noise. Pirelli P7 is definitely one of the best touring tyres on the market. It’s super quiet and provides good stable freeway performance. For the mileage concern, not big difference between those two but Pirelli has little advantage on price.

09.01.2022 A powered morning & power is nothing without control .

08.01.2022 Set of 4 6.50r16 drive tyres on this old truck with split rims. # Milwaukee nailed it

02.01.2022 Negative on this one. Staggered fitment is certainly one of the most common up grades for both appearance and performance of sport cars. However, it’s need to be done in a right way to keep same rolling diameter front and rear. Not just put any bigger tyre at the rear. This car had way too big tyre at rear and car turns ridiculously under steer. Basically it’s made a dream into nightmare. So, here comes a reminder, please do it properly if it’s necessarily and please put road safety in mind.

01.01.2022 Two Toyota Hilux. 31*10.5r15 A/T. BFGoodrich ko2 vs TOYO Open country AT II. BFGoodrich is tested by market for many many years and sit solid on unbeatable position. It’s got aggressive side wall for both good appearances and low pressure off road running. However,Toyo open country II comes with super deep and multi sipes tread and less aggressive side wall ,it will be super long lasting and perform well on ice/snow surface with a relatively quiet ride on freeway . Both tyres made in USA, both highly recommended.
