23.01.2022 Dear parents, Rest assured our teachers will work creatively with our little community to bring you the love and support you need at this time. Our teachers have already offered their support publicly beyond our school community. We just ask that you allow us the time to create, come together and offer you support and a well rounded education program for your child. Avoid sharing websites and purchasing things you may not need. Once the teachers are ready, you will receive communication. Please remember we were informed at the same time as you and will endeavour to roll out our program soon. Let's all work together to get through this. Thinking of you all and hoping you are all in good health.

22.01.2022 We miss the pitter patter of little feet through our garden, but we have two little garden helpers taking great care of our produce. Thank you to Rin and Betty for continuing to love our beautiful garden during social isolation and for those popping in to water. Thank you both very much!

21.01.2022 The discovery of writing is such a beautiful time for our little preppies. They are so proud and so willing to show their work to us. In the prep area they have focused on capital letters and full stops. The teachers have been running a professional learning community around punctuation and the children are so excited to share their learning. I hear conversations in the classroom between peers and they are spotting full stops and telling their friends to remember a capita...l letter follows a full stop. I wonder how our families can get involved in the excitement? Maybe you could write a letter to your little one and put the capital letters and full stops in rainbow colours! The children would love that! What if you sent a letter and forgot the capital letters and full stops and they had to put them in? It is wonderful to work in collaboration with our families. 20.01.2022 Please pass on our invitation to anyone you know who may be interested in briar hill primary school 2021. The year has gone so fast and we will soon be welcoming another wonderful bunch of kindy kids to our school. Our buddies are already really excited and looking forward to taking care and nurturing the little ones.

19.01.2022 I saw a post the other day from a friend who simply asked the following.....can we all be okay to share how it really feels. It helped a lot of people to see their sadness, their disappointments and their get on with it attitudes were reducing as time went on. But it did something amazing for our circle, the human aspect was validated. Today if you feel like it, share as a community!

17.01.2022 At school we are mult-tasking. This is Kurt attending his brothers wedding just after morning circle, whilst he watches over our online learners! A big shout out to our teachers who are learning to juggle all sorts of situations too! What a crazy world we live in!

17.01.2022 This post reminds me of the children at BHPS. They wander the corridors, checking in on teachers and seeing how their day is. I miss the difference makers in my day. The comments in the hallway, the small offers of help. You know who you are. I miss you! All 200 of you!
