25.01.2022 Dr Freelander MP and Linda Burney MP came to visit us a few weeks ago. They were so in awe of all of our students, teachers and community. We gifted him one of our new ties. Here he is rocking it in Canberra today!

20.01.2022 The multi-talented Walangari Karntawarra paid a special visit to our school to run an Indigenous Sand Painting cultural workshop. Our students were treated to the Yidaki, Sand Painting and finshed off the day with an Emu dance. All we can say is wow!! 15.01.2022 The colour run is on tomorrow please remember to bring white shirts or light coloured shirts and old shoes to school in a plastic bag, studentswill get changedbefore and after. Also apply sunscreen before students get to school and bring your water bottles. We are looking forward to having a fun time.

02.01.2022 On Tuesday we were very excited to have award winning Author Sue Whiting visit us here at Briar Road. Sue Whiting has written many books and we are very fortunate to have some of these books in our school library. Our students had a fabulous time and are already looking forward to her next visit.

02.01.2022 We had an absolute blast for NAIDOC WEEK! We celebrated in Briar style with "Always Was, Always Will Be" as this years theme. Our students were immersed in Aboriginal culture with bush tucker lessons, history, arts, games and also a special visit to our Elders within the local community. Also we'd like to congratulate all recipients of NAIDOC Awards for 2020. Happy NAIDOC week! "Always was, Always will be"... #naidocweek #alwayswasalwayswillbe #briarbrilliance
