17.01.2022 ******POST BY BRIARS HISTORIC INN (when they ran this page)*********** Hi everyone, We had a fire in the ceiling over the kitchen this afternoon. Everyone is ok. Our amazing staff evacuated the building immediately. The Bowral and Moss Vale fire departments did a great job to stop the fire spreading. ... We would like to thank all the local fire departments for doing such a professional job. We would also like to acknowledge our staff for reacting quickly to ensure the safety of everyone in the building. Sadly we will not be open for Fathers Day tomorrow. We are sincerely sorry to disappoint all our guests booked in. We have called all our guests and we do hope you can make alternative arrangements at any of the local venues. We will provide further updates as soon as we can. Thank you for all the calls and messages of concern and offers of support. We are deeply touched. Thank you.
