15.01.2022 These little guys were captured making a dash to the ocean this morning on Bribie A small group of volunteers from B.I.E.P.A - Bribie Island Environmental Protection Assoc. Inc rescued about 100 turtle hatchlings this week, in a three-hour mission to redirect them to the safety of Moreton Bay. The hatchlings got lost in the dunes on the way to the water. A massive thanks goes to B.I.E.P.A - Bribie Island Environmental Protection Assoc. Inc and Bribie Turtle Trackers for ...helping them find their way, ensuring a safe and successful journey. This is another important reminder to stay off the dunes as you don't know who might be living below.
