Lola was guest of honour at morning tea with her artist friends and was presented with a stunning cattleya orchid, "Zelda's Star'' bred locally on Bribie from award-winning stock. Lola is one of the Thursday Painters group who also gave her a special lunch today.

It's a delightful mix of works by 10 female artists, from acrylic and watercolour painting, prints, glass work, jewellery, pottery, woodwork, silks, resin and cards . Come see it soon. 01.01.2022 "SHOWING THEIR SMALLS" Big love for the SMALLS ... the enchanting and inviting Artist of the Month exhibition on SHOW during all of September. It features small works by the BICAS Contemporary Arts Practices members - and some big surprises here. The works were mostly created during the COVID downtime and enabled the artists to reconnect and recreate some artistic impulses not satisfied before. ... Always innovative and out there, this collective of experienced artists swapped far horizons for close-ups in small sizes. Meet them over morning tea, 10.30am on Friday September 11 here.... but as numbers are very limited, bookings for catering is essential on 3408 9288.
