25.01.2022 Hi paddlers our ready set paddle has been postponed BUT instead we will have our Fun Day for October is this SATURDAY - October 5th Poly Vaa will be joining us all the way from Shorncliff! ... TIME: 9am at compound (Back after lunch) WHAT: Paddle to Bongaree (with some Poly Vaa paddlers as well). Julie and Helen are steering. Buy lunch from Bongaree. Paddle back to compound. There will be room in the canoes for 6 BIMOCC paddlers (or more if another steerer would like to take a canoe) so get in fast to book your spot. If you miss out in the canoe you can take a drive to Bongaree and maybe paddle back. See you there

20.01.2022 RACE WITHOUT WASTE We are excited to announce Coca-Cola as the title sponsor for this year’s event! Singapore Paddle Club has partnered with Coca-Cola to contri...bute to Coca-Cola’s global World Without Waste initiative. SPC will be running a 12-month programme to remove plastic from the ocean around the Islands off Sentosa. An extension of this programme is to carry the message globally and demonstrate a change in our own behaviour with respect to single use plastic in ocean paddling events. In support for this cause, all single use plastic is banned from Singapore Ocean Cup. Coca-Cola will be providing water dispensers for filling drink containers. We ask you to please bring your re-usable bottles, and not bring any single use plastic of any kind into the race site.

11.01.2022 Seasons greetings SQ Zone paddling family! There is a further reason to celebrate during this festive season for three clubs across our SQ Zone. Their junior p...rograms are making a local difference. Since July, they all initiated programs to help boost their junior membership. Poly Va’a-alo OCC, Norfolk Island Wa’a OCC, and Gold Coast OCC were successful in sharing a small amount of SQ Zone funding that went towards: coaching workshops access to transport assist in obtaining new equipment, and resourcing the club to form new local partnerships with other junior ocean sporting programs. Each club has exceeded expectation of what had to be achieved by November’s end of having grown their junior numbers and local partnerships. One of the club’s will be sending 8 x new members to the National Sprints in Feb 2020 as a result of this campaign driveamazing, and well done!
