17.01.2022 BABIES - Friday Feel Good Story More Than 50 Pregnancies? Becoming pregnant has a great deal to do with the sexual nature of hormones, as you may well imagine. That is, after all, their primary purpose.... So if a woman's hormones are wildly out of balance, becoming pregnant can be very difficult. The opposite is also true; when your hormones are optimal, pregnancy becomes a much stronger possibility. We have helped well over 50 hopeful mothers have natural hormone babies in our clinic now - and fertility is not even my field. I just balance hormones. Amazingly, there have been some patients who have been through IVF and failed to get pregnant who have the come to see me to re-balance their hormones (or maybe balance them for the first time ever) and they HAVE become pregnant. IVF can cost tens of thousands of dollars per attempt and they are not always successful. I had one patient who was disheartened that not only was she suffering terribly from her hormones, but that she thought she had little chance of ever becoming a mother. A friend and neighbour of hers had done IVF 4 times, and she explained that she simply couldn't afford the same treatment. I was not deliberately treating her for fertility, but she was ecstatic when she found out that once her hormones had settled down, she did indeed become pregnant! And at about the same time as her friend / neighbour got pregnant, but for a fraction of the cost! Please don't misunderstand me, I am not suggesting that if you wish to get pregnant that you should come and see me. This just happens to be one of those delightful 'byproducts' (as it were) in doing the work that I love so much. I delight in the joy that I hear and see on the faces of my beloved patients. Anyway, this is just a happy little story that I thought I would share with you this Friday as you prepare for your weekend.
