19.01.2022 This month sees one year since Brida was awarded the City of Karratha contract for the management of the Wickham Transfer Station. Open seven days a week, from 7am to 4.30pm, the Wickham Transfer Station contract provides employment to four Brida team members. The team work in twos, in alternate seven day swings ensuring two staff are always on site to provide a friendly face and help the community dispose of their waste efficiently. Things to look forward to in this space ...include the implementation of a container deposit scheme drop off point, with funds from any containers collected invested back into Ngarliyarndu Bindirri Aboriginal Corporation (our not-for-profit, parent organisation) and in turn the Roebourne community. We’re working with North West Recycling to get this up and running as soon as possible! In addition to running the Wickham Transfer Station, Brida also holds the litter picking and sanitation contract for the towns of Roebourne, Wickham and Point Samson. This is really important work for our team and our staff take great pride in keeping these towns tidy as well as actively educating residents to help reduce littering. If you see our teams out and about make sure you give them a wave! And remember to put your rubbish in the bin.

18.01.2022 Our Y-Crew team have been hard at work removing debris and tidying up yards in Roebourne. We take great pride in looking after our Old People and those who are unwell, and this is just one of the ways our people are working to support our community. A great project to get behind! Thanks again to the City of Karratha for their support through their Small Business Grants.

18.01.2022 Did you know we also specialise in graffiti removal? We currently carry out works for the City of Karratha is this space to help keep our towns looking their finest. While you might not have any graffiti at home, you've likely got some marks on the walls you’d like to remove! ... Here's a quick trick to get rid of them: 1. Mix one cup of distilled white vinegar with one bucket of water. 2. Wipe from top to bottom with a microfibre cloth. For more stubborn stains: 1. Mix 3 parts baking soda to 1 part water. 2. Form a smooth paste. 3. Apply paste with a damp sponge or cotton tip. 4. Wipe off with a dry cloth. -- Remember to spot check first! --
