19.01.2022 We are still operating. We are seen as an essential service and are operating as per guidelines set by SA Health and the Dental Board. Infection control is of the highest standard and we have added extra measures, for instance a questionnaire to screen patients for COVID-19, a spaced out waiting room and all visitors are using alcohol hand rub that we provide. If you feel unwell (cold or flu like symptoms), please ring us beforehand for advice.

15.01.2022 Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we will only act as an emergency clinic from today. Please ring 08 85322511 in case of emergency. Routine dental work has to be postponed as per government guidelines and restrictions placed on dental practices. We will try and manage emergencies as well as possible as we don't want dental emergencies to place further strain on emergency rooms/the medical system.

15.01.2022 We are contacting patients who had appointments scheduled in the coming days to postpone these until further clarification received. In case of emergency please contact the local emergency services/medical clinics. We are hoping to be open again from next week Wednesday.

10.01.2022 At present we are only treating emergencies as per ADA guidelines (level 3 restrictions). For emergencies or advice please ring 08 8532 2511 or 0403158667. Stay safe!

03.01.2022 Restrictions will drop down one level from next week. We will be able to offer most services (still limitations on some services). We will be in contact with everyone that had an appointment cancelled or anyone listed for continuation of treatment that was started while restrictions were in place. Recalls for April 2020 will also be sent! Please contact us if you are due for your check up or have any dental concerns.

02.01.2022 We are back to ‘normal’, patients will still be asked screening questions about Covid-19, but we are now allowed to do most procedures!

01.01.2022 At Bridge Dental we are (as always) maintaining a high standard of infection control. We are also following guidelines as set by SA Health in regards to COVID-19. We do screen patients according to the guidelines as listed below and would ask patients to reschedule if they are to be isolated according to the guidelines. Isolation requirements: - Isolate patients who have been tested pending results. ... - Travellers from higher risk countries (including transit): mainland China, Iran (on or after 1 March), Italy (on or after 11 March) or South Korea (on or after 5 March); and close contacts of a confirmed case, must be isolated for 14 days from departure/last contact irrespective of test results. - All healthcare workers & staff who have close patients contact in hospitals &/or residential/aged care facilities who have returned from any higher risk country should be advised not to undertake work in a health care or residential/aged care facility for 14 days since leaving the higher risk country. - All returned international travellers should self-monitor for symptoms, practise social distancing, and if an illness develops, isolate themselves and seek medical care as per a suspected case. These guidelines have now been updated and any traveller that arrived since midnight (last night) must self isolate for 14 days.
