25.01.2022 On behalf of the Bridgenorth Football Club tonight Bobby Beams and Grace Walker presented a cheque to Headspace Launceston! Earlier on in the year we had the senior women’s and men’s team take part in the push up challenge! Our club loves supporting organisations like Headspace Launceston who do a fantastic job in Mental Health Awareness in our community!

24.01.2022 Our last show of Parrot Park Radio has been aired! It was a great show with special guest Grace Walker in the studio! As well as talking to next years senior couch Phil Lethborg! Have a listen to find out who the winners were for the women’s and under 21’s Most Valuable Player! The slideshow is a combination of photos through out the year as well as new photos! ... Well done to Bobby, Pup, Ollie, and Chris on putting together such a great show every week!

24.01.2022 The Bridgenorth Football Club is pleased to announce our final coaching appointments for the 2021 season! Up and coming senior star Ollie Wood and club stalwart Bobby Beams will join the recently announced Phil Lethborg and Chris Walker as the head coaches of our four teams. Ollie will take on the role of under 18’s coach after enjoying the last two seasons at Parrot Park as a player including being a member of our 2019 senior Grand Final team.... He is an outstanding leader at such a young age and the club is extremely happy to have such a passionate person to develop our young playing group! Bobby will take on the role as senior women’s coach for the third consecutive year after reaching finals in the teams inaugural season. Bobby comes with a wealth of knowledge having played 350+ games for the parrots! He has previously coached the reserves, Mini league, part of the senior coaching team and now the senior women’s team for the last 2 years! Bobby is one of the hardest working and most committed club person! He is excited for what is to come for the senior women’s team in 2021! The club is looking forward to the next season with Ollie and Bobby leading the teams!

18.01.2022 The Bridgenorth Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of our senior men’s and reserves coaches for 2021. After 3 years as an assistant coach Phil Lethborg will take on the senior coaching job. The club is extremely happy to have someone with Phil’s experience and passion at the helm. A decorated player with many clubs including Nth Launceston, Scottsdale, Deloraine and Longford Phil is an outstanding leader who has the football IQ and people management skills t...o continue to take our club in the right direction after the strong contributions of previous coaches Brady Demeijer and Gary Shipton. Our reserves job will be once again taken on by 2019 premiership coach and club stalwart Chris Walker. 2021 will be Chris’s fourth consecutive season as coach taking on the role in 2018. Having shared coaching duties this year with our under 21’s Chris was able reach a huge milestone by playing his 300th senior match during this years Boag’s St. George Shield. The club wish Phil and Chris all the best as we continue to provide an environment for many young people in our community to grow and prosper. Stay tuned for announcements on our senior women’s and under 18’s coaches in the coming weeks.

Logan Wright will reach another milestone today playing 100 senior games for the club! Once again congratulations! 11.01.2022 PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT CASEY IS BACK!! After a successful year with Launceston Casey Walker-Russell has returned back to Parrot Park hungry for team success!!... He is a consistent performer in our midfield and still at the age of only 21, Casey is a player that people love to play along side with. We love watching him play out there! Casey is competitive and he bleeds Parrot coloured blood! Welcome home Casey

We are thrilled to announce that the 2020 B & F winner and Association leading goal kicker Rohan Sergeant has committed to Helping Bridgenorth achieve team success for 2021! ... Rohan will also be playing line coach as forwards coach. 04.01.2022 PRE SEASON BEGINS Training for both our men & womens teams start in the coming weeks. So we invite all existing & interested players to come along & get ready for the 2021 season! MENS TEAMS ... A few date claimers Tuesday November 17th 2020:- FREE group personal training/therapy (or game based pre Christmas training) Tuesday and Thursdays at LCS until December 17th! January 21st FREE group training recommences, again game based mainly. WOMENS TEAMS Starting on Tuesday 24th November at LCS ground for 5.30 for 6pm start. We train together to make each other great!!!
